well I used to do cocaine till i became chemically adicted. that was 10 years ago. but the point is that i use it from time to time, in very small amounts. But it makes me feel so bad. I just cant quit at all, its so frustriating. what would you advice me?

It’s easy if you start doing that, but isn’t it easier not to touch that stuff? Even smoking is “easy”, so why lots of people don’t even smoke? It doesn’t take a lot of effort to refuse drugs…someone who starts doing them must be totally aware of what he’s gonna face, i.e. addiction, in most cases. And to me, that’s a stupid thing to do, knowing exactly what will happen.

@Nenshati: the fact that you’re feeling fine doesn’t mean heroin is harmless.

I don’t think anyone’s life is easy. Life is hard, let’s face it. Some people just have harder lives, but drugs are not the solution. I know desperation often leads to mistakes, but they are indeed mistakes. People who seek “help” in drugs are very fragile because they can’t find a solution themselves, and this makes me extremely sad. When you NEED a substance to find a balance in your life, it means you have no control over yourself. Ask anyone who quit drugs about it and they’ll agree

lets see, William S burroughs did heroin (and EVERY OTHER OPIATE) until he was 83 years old. How is it he didn’t OD? A few people can do it. Most people shouldn’t.
Btw the best way to kick any drug is TO EXERCISE, RUN RUN RUN RUN and get it out of your system!
