Well your body takes 1 hour to so to say ‘burn off’ 1 beer, the most common way people get drunk is to consume more alcohol than the body can take out of its system.

    depends on ones tolerance

It differs based on tolerance and body weight.

2 liters of 8.1% malt liquor works for me!

    Hi Blair,

There is a difference between a euphoric buzz and alcoholic intoxication.

If you’re drinking a good beer with some decent alcohol content (between 5.2% and 8% or better) you should be feeling a solid buzz towards the end of your first liter.

That same good beer should provide explosive detonation at the conclusion of the six pack, or right around 2 Liters.

You should of course consider your weight, tolerance and how fast you’re pounding those bad-boys.

And I’d stay away from corn-rice-barley based beers and go with pure ingredients. I recently had some fun with this American Lager: http://www.bestbeerbuzz.com/Small_Craft_Warning.html

Hope this helps, and Chainsaw the Night!
