There is no equivalency between the two. The opiate in Lortab is hydrocodone. The opiate in Oxycontin is oxycodone. You would have to take so many Lortabs that the amount of acetaminophen in them becomes dangerous. DO NOT try to take an ‘equivalent’ dose! If your pain is not controlled, consult your physician.
