A&E Intervention – Dawn & Fabian Pt. 2
Dawn, 49, is a meth addict, suffering the extreme physical addition symptoms of the drug. She often hallucinates and imagines things, symptoms of meth psychosis. Dawn lives on the streets and wanders from place to place. Dawn’s family is desperately trying to get her help. Will she accept the offer of treatment? For Fabian, 37, an addiction has cost him everything and was once an entrepreneur.

angela1894- By the way, if you had watched the video, don’t you think that the way Fabian was abused when he was younger and his mothers erratic behaviour has more to do with the way he is now, not the cannabis?

ChrstferATEmario- Exactly right. My friend is exactly like this guy, started smoking weed but wanted something more. He is still making his way through as many drugs has possible, at the moment its meth

@angela1894 Rum, pills and pot is a very bad combo. many drugs react with each other, and can create an “awesome” effect, but an effect that can kill. its actually probably the PILLS and ALCOHOL that did it. pot is a non-addictive (chemically, anyway) substance. Pills and alcohol ARE addictive!

@angela1894 NO! Cannibis is NOT evil! its the idiots that take it, then take other drugs, that are evil. There are people that can take pot and be just fine, and there are people who cant. There are also idiots like you who have an all or nothing policy, and drive people to it, for multiple reasons, such as to feel “daring”

artists are susceptible to drugs because (thank god) they prefer an alternate lifestyle choice. unfortunately, drugs fits into that category and its not productive in the long run.

Addictions aside, I hate the way that this sort of situation is used to push the same tired old agenda that creativity is only the product of drugs or insanity and that it is a self-indulgent, time-wasting excercise that doesn’t mean anything and isn’t worth anything unless you’re selling it as a commodity or hold down a “real job” These subtle cliches are perpetuated by a society generally envious of those who have creative talent and I don’t think that attitude will ever change.

Women are such devilish creatures. I think men make much better parents. Women are abusive. If it comes down to only one parent raising a child it should be 95 percent of the time the father. But, society does the opposite.

I agree that Mom had some serious psychological issues from the death of her babies. There are some serious issues all around in this home. However, Fabian’s sisters didn’t become druggies or drunks. He must take some personal responsibility for the choices he’s made in his life.

fabians mother is still obviously not well in the head! shes in massive denial ‘ if i beat them its coz they lied n tricked me’ so what if they did thats what kids do, you dnt go beating them!! shes messed her kids up for life!! i feel for his mum bcoz of the miscarriages, iv been there jan of this year and its awful but i didnt come home and beat my 8year old son did i!! its made me realise how precsious my boy and life is! i feel sorry for fabian, he had alot of pressure on growin up!!
