Jeez… when I was a teen in the 80′s, we just accepted depression as a hormonal thing. If we were depressed, we’d try to overcome it by doing something we enjoy. Perhaps exercise. Considered a revolutionary concept these days, I guess… but we, (or at least I,) would NOT have popped a pill and expected depression to go away.
Stupid pharmaceuticals.

I definitely believe pharmaceutical drugs, especially anti-depressants, can really mess some people’s heads.
It really should only be taken as a last resort, if someone is on the brink of killing themselves. Today they are prescribed all the time because of “loneliness” and feeling “inferior and sad”. Well that’s very fucking normal for teens to feel.
