I think it’s fair to say that only a small portion of world Christians believe in the 6000 yr old earth myth. Catholics certainly do not teach that at all! (not that they havent had issues with science in the past, however on the ‘how old is the earth exactly’ they’re in 2009). Those folks are only a small % of world wide christians that take and teach KJV bible Gen should be taken literal. Wacky fringe only.

Biology, biochemistry, paleontology, molecular biology, and genetics all confirm that the true age of our planet. The truth is that the Bible is a collection of ancient nonsense. All of my scientist friends agree with this. Of course, you are free to believe whatever you want.
