tmz’s Harvey Levin Says “Reckless Drug” Found In Jackson Home

Harvey Levin of TMZ tells Greta Van Susteren that the drug propofol, aka diprivan, which he calls “a reckless drug,” was found in the late Michael Jackson’s house, and suggests that the physician who signed off on the drug could be involved in a “manslaughter prosecution.” He adds that no funeral plans have been confirmed at this time, and that Staples Center is “an option” for the venue.

Another point… I read recently that 28 percent of the time that people ABUSE Propofol/Diprivan the people DIE. As someone who administers this drug in ICU to sedate patients who are on ventilator support… the use of this drug “recreationally” would truly be RUSSIAN ROULETTE!

Diprivan knocks out your respiratory drive. Not intubated and on a ventilator… You ARE A GONER!

FYI… You DO NOT “Shoot up” Propofol/Diprivan. It is a short acting drug that must be administered as a CONTINUOUS IV DRIP. It will STOP your breathing due to CNS Depression. Used in OR/ER and surgery centers for brief periods of light anesthesia where only a brief period of anesthesia is required. It is also used as continuous sedation for patients on Ventilator Support in Intensive Care Settings. MJ DID NOT GIVE THIS TO HIMSELF! Someone had to give it to him. J R MS/ARNP Acute Care
