marijuana does NOT need to be legal. for the terminally ill, thats fine, just like morphine is used but its still illegal for the public. the last thing the U.S. needs is another mind altering intoxicant to be legal. we have enough problems with alcohol. do not send mixed signals to kids

@Axhatchet being an ex pot head, I know the effects of marijuana…… do you realize how lazy america would be if everyone was high all the time? and what do you think our younger generations would become if they all grow up as stoners? Yah, there would be a lot of money in it, but think about the drawbacks and long term consequences.

drugs are part of the population control. so are cigarettes and alcohol. these things keep the population numbers under check. weed has never killed anyone but alcohol and cigs kill millions. even in my country (ireland) there are thousands of alcohol related deaths per year. why not ban alcohol and cigs like weed? cos they generate huge revenue and they kill people off. simple as that
