you have to burn more calories then you eat…
normally in a day you burn off every Calorie you eat, but if you exercise every day you will burn even more !!! you should be eating about 800-1000 calories a day but if your burning 400 extra calories a day, you will be on the right track.
and if you ever get a temptation to eat junk food, think to yourself that if i eat this i will have to work SO much harder to burn it off.
the key is cardio.

Question by : How did Alcoholism play a role in the destruction of Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s lives?
F. Scott Fitzgerald is the author of the Greta Gatsby. Need some info on him for an essay. Answering this question specifically would be best. Thanks

Answer by J Davis
F Scott was always jealous of what he perceived to be Zelda’s greater talent. His turn to alcoholism created a green eyed monster in him that led to his constant belittlement of Zelda, which in turn created a great lack of self esteem. He would degrade her constantly in their relationship both in private and in public, thus causing rifts between them and psychological damage. F Scott was too wrapped up in his own private misery and lack of success compared to Zelda’s free spiritedness.

Question by KOL2000: How much does a typical alcoholic drink each day?
I read in a seemingly scholarly article somewhere that it’s “not unusual” for alcoholics to consume as much as 200 grams of alcohol a day (20 shots!) on average. Is this true? How much does a typical alcoholic actually consume on daily or weekly basis?
Special Note: I’m not talking about people who simply abuse alcohol (drink +3 drinks a day on average), I’m talking about people who are actually dependent and have little or no control over how much they drink. And no, I’m not asking this question to screen myself for alcoholism…

Question by Jim G: Does alcoholism cause diabetes? If not, what kind of complications with diabetes does alcoholism cause?
Diabetes has many causes, everything from genes to diet to lifestyle play a role. What exactly is the relationship between alcohol and especially alcoholism and diabetes?

Answer by It’s That Guy
I don’t think any actual link has been found between alcohol consumption and diabetes. Diabetics can drink moderately, it doesn’t seem to have any serious bad effects. Heavy drinking, like heavy smoking, has lots of bad effects on the body and health, and it can be worse if you’re diabetic.
I read of a case years ago where a man was diabetic and also a heavy drinker. He had been drinking, but then he went into a diabetic coma. He was picked up by the police who, smelling his breath, thought he was only very drunk, and rather than get him the medical help he needed they threw him in the ‘drunk tank’ to sleep it off. And he died.
